Slack App FAQ

  • Studies show that learning soft skills is a slow and gradual process. It needs to be part of your daily or weekly habit.

    For many professionals, slack is an important communication channel. It is already part of a daily routine, so rather than add additional work by making you remember to open a different app, or go to a bookmark page, you can do your learning in Slack.

  • The Slack app incorporates a learning technique called “Microlearning”.

    Microlearning is a form of learning where individuals do short, regular lessons (e.g. 2-5min) rather than a single, large lesson. This type of learning has been proven to be more effective at teaching soft skills as well as increasing knowledge retention.

  • To install the slack app, either click the links provided or search for us in the Slack directory.

    1. Click on the install icon

    2. You will be asked to give permission for the app to access your workspace. Click allow.

    3. Start using the app.

  • There are both a free and premium plans available via the slack app.

    The Slack app’s initial experience is the same for both the free and premium members. However, premium subscriptions will go into more content and offer additional features, allowing you to develop your skills faster.
